Long Distance Responders Organization is an unofficial non-profit 501(c)(3) with the goal of teaching the American People how to prepare and preform in emergencies with the use of Amateur Radio. Long Distance Responders Organization is being founded by Raymond T. Anderson, N7KCB, and his father, Morris Anderson.

In September of 2020, Raymond and his family were walking down the docks of Lake Pleasant after a boat parade, they come across Arizona Congresswoman Debbie Lesko. Raymond had recently came up of an idea of starting a national remembrance day so he asked Congresswoman Debbie Lesko to start a bill to do so. A few weeks later, Congresswoman Debbie Lesko had created a bill designating April 18 2021 as National Amateur Radio Operators Day.

After Raymond proposed the idea, he started filing papers to the Arizona Corporations Commission on starting a non-profit so he can help people in emergencies.
